Correlation coefficients provide a way to explain the degree to which two or more sets of variable relate. The range is between 1 and -1 where 1 is a perfect correlation and -1 is a perfect correlation in opposite directions (one value goes up as another goes down). A zero correlation means that their is no statistically significant relationship between those items.
